Keane just got on with it. He may deep down resent the fact some of the deadwood in the 99 squad got medals and he never.

But the fact is he missed the final cus of Zamorano. Why he got involved with him I'll never know but it cost him his defining moment in the end.

Cole had a great game but Keane was magnificent especially for someone who knew he was missing the final, his goal dragged us back into it. Thought Nicky Butt had his finest game in a United shirt that night
