I am unboldly going to predict, that Mr Rooney will win player of the year.

Had he played to his abilities last year, we would have won the league by March.

He's our best player.

Even in a 'frustrating' season by his standards he still scored over 20 goals, still scored stoppage time winners in front of the Stretford End against AC Milan, still lit up Old Trafford (particuarly between Feb & early May) ...& scored a beautiful goal at Goodison that effectively sealed the Title.

I pray that we get Tevez to play alongside him, but Rooney will always be the player that I look forward to seeing every Saturday.

I expect the lad to come out firing on all cylinders straight away.

He, like the rest of the lads, have had a good break this summer, and should be rightly £#%&!ing pumped up for the opening game of the season.

i dont think you will find anyone in football today who will say rooney is a better and more complete player than ronaldo.

i know its not good to compare but id say only a few narrow minded england fans would say it.
