We have an unbalanced squad full of average squad players with a few potentially good players and only 2-3 quality players

The club has been run poorly for a while and the last few years have been a cluster £#%&! because of that. Jose seems to have steadied the ship and although performances haven't been great we have improved under him

Jose is doing his best and imo we'd be worse off without him. The club needs to back him and give him the opportunity to build his own squad. The Perisic scenario is something that can't be repeated, what ever anyone thinks of him, he's the player the manager wanted and at a reasonable fee (in today's market). He's an established player and would have added competition to an area that we are lacking in

Add 4-5 quality players over the next 12 months (3 transfer windows) and ship some of the deadwood out and I think we'll be in a much better place and able to properly judge Jose.

most of us saw what he'd offer - and this -

Jose Mourinho was desperate to land the 28-year-old in the off-season but a deal fell through with Perisic opting to stay at the San Siro for the time being. Perisic has since signed a deal that will keep him at the club until 2022 and he remains focused on helping Inter battle for the title - sounds from that he ain't coming. likes his manager the lot.

All these people saying get rid of Woodward

He’s the best performing revenue generating CEO in the world game. He’s a machine and an owner’s dream. £#%&!ing clueless. They expect united to be ran by bobby Charlton 🤪

Let's face it, that is what they want these days.

So we just pick up 19 more players and keep the same manager.

We are frustrated because we're not as good as we think we should be, but the reality is that you need 4 or 5 Windows to turn this round. This doesn't make him blameless, but as long as he's achieving something, progressing us to some degree, we have to stick with him. Bring in someone else and they'd need the same amount of money and the same amount of time to get to the stage where we apparently lose patience.

He's doing ok. Not much more, not much less.

We really need to be more ruthless in the market, starting with more departures. As long as we're littered with shit@#%&!s, there's no real urgency to replace them.

And I'm not a Jose fan or detractor.

We'll have a better indication of where we are come the end of the season.
This

He's made mistakes but which manager hasn't ? I cant believe the negativity here when we are 2nd in the league & through to the CL KO stages. We have had big in juries to big players . We have improved massively on the goal scoring front.
This has all come about because City are so far ahead. Pep inherited Fernandinho, KDB, Aguerro & Silva . Jose inherited 1 world class player, a keeper , & a couple of kids with potential & decent but brittle CB's. He's had to try to strengthen every area & its just not possible.
We are above Chelsea & they have a player like Willian as almost a 3rd choice. What Utd don't seem able to do is find these diamonds in the rough & get them at a reasonable price, but thats because we are Utd. There were rumours that Wenger could have signed Martial for around 10 million 6 months before the crazy Dutch bastard threw the kitchen sink at Monaco in desperation

The answer is 42.

What you really need to do is discover what the real question should be.

Can’t believe no-one has done the HGTTG quote already

Get rid of him from the football side. He can stay and bleed potential sponsors dry by all means..

The answer is a new right winger, a new left back, another central midfielder and another striker.

That's all. We are not that far away.
