I feel confident because he just looks out of form, settling in. We know what he's capable of and he's working hard while it happens.

Luuuurvely ball for mata chance too.

He put in a shift yesterday too. Everyone did and it was much needed for the win..

Probably did better defensively than offensively yesterday. I'm not worried about him at all. He'll come good.

Thumbs up

Like him. Works his absolute %@#$&!s off, and is a winner. His directness and urgency rubs off on the rest of the team.

Reckon he'll flourish next season with the rest he'll get over the summer after Chile failed to qualify for the World Cup.

Felt a bit sorry for him esp first half when nothing seemed to come off for him. Didn’t hide and kept working. Played his part and improved as the game went on.

I'm not anti-Sanchez by a long chalk, but that doesn't really prove a great deal tbh.

Let’s be honest he had a shocker yesterday

Nice piece of play for the Mata chance but aside from that most things he tried went wrong

Can’t take the left spot atm as Martial / Rashford job share is too good an option for us down that side to give balance to the attack

Would personally try he on the right as playing him ahead of a midfield 2 with Pogba as part of the two just won’t work
Trying to get him and Pogba into the side without losing our structure in defence and in attack is going to be incredibly difficult for Jose to solve

He played on the right against Chelsea and the game passed him by.

He played at the top of a diamond against Chelsea with Martial and Lukaku as split centre forwards

Harsh.

We've signed older players before and they've struggled initially. Berbs and Sheringham didn't exactly set the world alight early days.

His age doesn't mean he necessarily gels with his team mates straight away. It doesn't mean he's coming in full of confidence.

Every signing is a gamble in that sense.

And they got shit for it too. Most wanted rid of Sheringham after a season and wrote Berbs off after about a month

Of course every signing is a gamble, but when you sign someone in their early 20’s your’re expecting them to take time to adapt, and that time is there. Everyone screams out for signings ready to go, at their peak, so when you sign someone of that age of course you’re expecting them to hit the ground running.
