Good but bit of a shame that the 2nd doesn't show the sacrifice made by 400,000 muslims who lost their lives fighting alongside the allies in WWII including Mohammed

No. He means the 400,000 muslims called Muhammed.

Perhaps that's because the cartoon features soldiers wearing WWI uniforms, which is the basis of Armistice Day/Remembrance Day/Poppy Day/11th November and the reference to wearing a poppy.

Nov 11th is the rememberance of all war dead Bizarre you should suggest otherwise.

Regardless, 400k is the number of muslim troops who served in WW1 out of 1.5m Indian soldiers of which around 75k lost their lives and a similar number were injured. There was at least one muslim V.C. too.

Not to mention French Algerian and Morroccan troops

So now you know.

Remembrance Day and the Haig fund (1921) came before WWII (1939); the basis of my point is in response to the question about no Muslims being recognised in a cartoon (Crikey, getting very Charlie Hebdo here..). Nor indeed any Jews, Christians, horses, dogs, pigeons, Germans... all of whom played at part in the war and are part of the remembrance process.

I like to read the comments under his cartoons. If the subject revolves around one club, there will always be people who sulk.

Absolutely not funny etc.
