He did OK last night from the hour of highlights I've seen. He's been a bit up and down this season really, think his 3 goals in a week may have got a few over-hyping him. Time'll tell on his United career, good luck to him mind.

I remember we went about a season without scoring from a corner, was it 250+ corners with Beckham taking? think it was more about what was going on in the box than Beckhams quality miond.

Whether Beckhams actual corner taking was poor or not is a tough one to debate, we didnt seem to score too many from them id we? And if memory serves he hit the first man a lot.

I always preferred Giggs on corners.

I never rated beckhams corners either, the big cup final of 99 he did nothing but put them in Oliver Kahn's hands for pretty much the entire game and I don't remember us scoring that many from them.

Whilst it's true that we scored two goals in the ECF both from Beckhams corners, isn't it also true that in his final season we didn't score at all from a Beckham corner? Considering he was 'the best dead ball specialist in the world' that's quite a poor record.
