The fact he’s had to wait until the World Cup to make this video says a fair bit about how well Pogba actually did last season. Souness’ point about Lingard and Alli also a reasonable one, which he seems to have completely misunderstood.

Mesut Ozil won the World Cup and that's hardly shup up the critics in the four years since.

Pogba has shown his quality in a knockout tournament - stepping up in big games. Can he do it on a week by week basis for his club? He is outrageously gifted so its only the mentality that is stopping him. I haven't seen him piss about this tournament probably because one bad 10-15 minutes could have meant curtains whereas routine league games are treated exactly like that - routine.
