What, better then win the league every year (or do they share it with someone else now rangers have gone west) and get knocked out of the ECL at the group stage. It's a massive drop in stature for him, worse then the championship, at least he'd have the chance of promotion there, absolute cul de sac of nothingness.

The SHAME

Was probably mouthing off like Brent backstage after he made an arse of himself on that Blind Date thing....

How do you think that went Brendan?

From my point of view, yeah, brilliant. Money for old rope, you know.
But you saw how many idiots were out there, paying eight quid each.
So call me a £#%&!er! They're the £#%&!er. I'm just taking the money.

Etc.

I assume that wasn't taken when everyone was there. Unless they've photoshopped the ones with Brendan but I'm not sure anyone could care enough to bother.

RAWK

- He was obviously waiting for a club of similar stature to us (at least a club as well supported, in their own way) and I think that this will be a good fit for him.

- Really happy for him. Lucky guy, only in his early 40s and already has managed two iconic clubs!

- The Scottish PL will be more interesting next season. YNWA Brendan

From his press conference today, about the result against the imps

There's absolutely no chance of the Imps getting through but £#%&! me, it would be funny.

I'll just settle for the 1-0 in the 1st leg being Bullshit Brenton's first game up there. Long may he reign.

I'd imagine that anybody who had ever been struck by lightning would inform him that the two aren't mutually exclusive.

They'd probably also inform him that getting struck by 30,000 volts of pure Biblical Fury is far preferable to listening to 5 minutes of Brenton talking about phases of play and inverted pyramids

A matter of months later, Agger would confront Rodgers when the manager again criticised both his centre-halves during a 2-1 win over Swansea in February 2014. Rodgers had reprimanded Agger and Martin Skrtel for allowing Wilfried Bony to have too much possession.

“Everyone was quiet but I stood up and said: ‘How can you stand there and say that when we are only doing what you have been going on about all week.’

“Rodgers looked at me and muttered: ‘Whatever.’ I was substituted 12 minutes later.”
