The way things are going at Chelsea, Todd boehly will most likely hire Ed Woodward to run things by the seasons end.

Completely mental, but fun

Lampard such a cuck as well. Gets dumped for some German hipster and still goes crawling back.

Guarantee he’s dreamt of winning the champions league on this stint over and over

Boehly might look like an absolute idiot who doesn't have a clue what he's doing but... actually I've got nothing. It's impossible to imagine how he could be doing a worse job. Pretty sure a potoato would do a better job of running the club.

Fast becoming managements biggest chancer.

He’s not taken a single club to a higher league placing than when he took over. He’s done literally nothing as a manager, yet he’s been handed tje Chelsea job twice and Everton.

Amazing what being a good English player does for your management credentials.

He got the Chelsea job the first time around because he did well at Derby and he is a club legend. It didn't particulalry seem an awful appointment at the time.

Not sure being an England player had anything to do with it. Derby was about the right level for him to start at. The jump to Chelsea was obviously extreme but they took a chance and it failed.

How he's still getting top flight jobs is a mystery. I know this is just a caretaker roll but there must shurely be someone better. They could finally get Rangnick

He’s young and already had a lot of management experience. No argument that Derby aside he hasn’t been great but it’s not beyond the realms that he could turn in to another Warnock and I can’t give higher praise than that.

Lampard seems a decent bloke. Good appointment if it happens. Pretty sure he is capable of securing them 11th

It's only for a month I suppose. But still must be someone better available, or they could have promoted from within.

He didn’t even do well at derby. Took them from 6th to 6th. Average everywhere he’s been.

I think being an England player has everything to do with it. It’s profile. You’ve got Gerrard linked with the Leeds job after bombing at Villa. Why? Based on what? Nothing more than him being Steven Gerrard.

At the end of the day, it’s only an interim position, but he’s got to be one of the luckiest managers out there for the jobs he gets in comparison to the job he does.

Look at the person who succeeded him: Dyche. It’s taken him the better part of ten years to get a job that Lampard got before him.

If they win the CL, they will have to give it to him. Or if they go on some crazy unbeaten run until the end of the season.
