Glad to see they're making the juniors walk 4 vertical miles for a subbuteo view.

credit where it's due though, they are relentless

from a business and marketing pov it would be a mistake if they didn't try and take advantage of the early season success in getting bums on seats tbh

from the point of view of supporters interested in atmosphere, support and tradition that's embarrassing.

on the other hand, from the point of view of a businessman interested only in maximising income there's nothing wrong with that. in fact it's probably what the glazers' strategy aims at (depending on how many season tickets are left, of course). if you're selling 100% of season tickets in advance of the season then you probably aren't pricing high enough in strict business terms.

given that the glazers' interest in goes no further than how much money they can take out of the club i think it's pretty clear which is their point of view.

yeah, i've already said that

incidentally, Chelsea sold out 40k of STs i believe, yet United are still above them in real term attendance potential according to that table

Arsenal sold out 50 k STs didn't they? and United are level with them. Arsenal also reckon they have a waiting list of 30,000 for STs each paying £15 a pop to be on the list, separate to their club membership scheme.

how many STs di the Vermin sell? they seem to be way down on potential average attendance

the United fans braincelled up and £#%&!ed off with player wages would seem not to be alone amongst PL match-goers
