Yeah. I remember Welbeck was coming onto the fringes then as a kid. Such a young and vibrant attacking group with Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Nani, Anderson. Felt like it was going to be something special. Shame how quickly that all tailed off. Ronaldo and Tevez leaving, the likes of Ando not progressing for whatever reason. Just three years later we're back in the final with Park, Valencia and Chicharito

Hargreaves and Anderson not kicking on due to their various issues created the long term issues in the midfield that we are still trying to fix. Fletcher was a beneficiary, for 2 or 3 years he was excellent but the depth we had been building in that area drifted away.
