Thumbs up agree

Anyone else call headers and volleys 'Gooma'? Or heard it being called that?

We did. Weird name thinking about it.

We also played a game called one touch. As you guessed you were only allowed one touch, which you either shot or passed with. It was a @#%&! to play at times. If you had more than one you had to go in net.

"Give and go!"

Headers and volleys, if the keeper catches your shot before it bounces you're in. The @#%&! would then throw it to one of your mates for a simple header 2 yards out before you even remembered you had to go in goal!

Fixing a small thorn hole on plastic balls (not the 99p balloon ones) with a hot knife which you heat up on the cooker.
