Recognition on here is the only thing I've got.

Cheers JC.

I'm surprised about Evra though. He's got a couple of years left in him.

Unless someone has offered silly money for him, it doesn't make sense.
Or this is the year for Baines at OT and he's been told that he can't have both.
Buttner, Fabio, Baines would be enough. Personally I'd expect Buttner to go out on loan and have Fabio as cover for Baines.

There's nothing to gain by sending Buttner out. He's never going to be first choice left back and he's proven that he's good cover.

Sending Fabio to somewhere he'll actually get to play might be a good idea.

I think it'd be foolish to get rid of Evra for Baines. Baines is only 3 years younger but Evra is more athletic so will probably make up at least a year of that.

Baines wouldn't really be an improvement over Evra so we'd be spending £20m without improving the team. It doesn't make sense.

Evra be disappointed to see him go. He's had a good season.

I wouldn't sell Evra now tbph, he's seems to have stopped that stupid cutting inside the centre back thing out on the whole. A left footed winger would help him massively as it means that he doesn't have to supply the width in terms of crossing with every single attack down that side. I do like Baines though.

I said the other day. A top quality left-midfielder arguably this summer is more important than somebody to play centrally.

Maybe but having a proper midfielder in a more advanced position would benefit the existing wingers. Options are Evra/Rafael or the forwards most of the time, another option for them would make us more difficult to play against and less predictable. Would love a proper left footer though so again.

sod it lets do both.

He's alright, but I worry about Freggle playing him in the wrong position.
