Default Lewandowski

Seems Ferie has shifted his attention to a slightly more realistic prospect than Falcao....

"Lewandowski? Yeah but Bayern Munich are strong with that too".

Oh well, at least we gave it our best shot.

Bayern have a history in buying overhyped, mediocre strikers, so Lewandowski will likely end up there.

Overrated guy. Could probably get Cavani for similar money.

Would you class him as one of the top 5 strikers in Europe (excluding Messi and Ronaldo)? I personally wouldn't.

I would honestly not swap one of our strikers for him. Dortmund have some quality midfielders that we could use though.

I would.

My top 5 forwards excepting Messi and Cristiano:

5. Lewandowski
4. Cavani
3. Aguero
2. Robin van Persie
1. Falcao

I'd have Zlatan and Rooney ahead of Lewandowski.

Probably a few more that I can't think of at the moment. Eto'o is another, Benzema possibly, Suarez definitely.

Bottom line is regardless of how good he is, we don't need him. If we keep all four of our current strikers this summer we'll do well next season. It's the best four since '99, and arguably they will be better if Welbeck and Hernandez continue their development.

Yeah, that last part I agree with. I'd say we have three of the ten best strikers in Europe, nqat.

These sages writing of Lewandowski :shakehead:

Would they be the same muppets that wrote off Shinji as another Park just cos he is from Japan.

Lewandowski is quality and I would take him to Utd in a heart beat, especially at the £18m they are quoting.

Shinji, Lewandowski and RvP
