Football What's Cleverley done to piss Fergie off?

He's been fit since January right? But he's been benched nearly every game over the past month or so, after being started as CM in the big games during the first half of the season. Tonight, he's starting in the reserves. Weird. Anyone heard anything?

It's this disappearing act he tends to pull halfway through games.

He's hardly set the world alight when he has played, it's understandable.

Too many nothing performances from him this season. Good short passer, but little creativity, lacks the longer passing option and is very lightweight in defensive play.

Or it could be that the early start to the season with the Olympics has left him jaded in the latter part of the season.

funny one - he gives us some much need tempo on occasions, has added a few goals to the mix, but comes across as a right £#%&!ing lightweight and has all the trappings of superstardom without really having done much

may just be bringing him down a few peggingtons

Case of keeping his feet on the ground and letting him know his place? Seems like the kind of lad who would think he is the bee's knees after a few starts.

Played out of position at Chelsea and barely acknowledged since. Bit strange. Him being a little @#%&! is a very possible explanation. Maybe he had a moan about how he was used at Chelsea. Either way, watching centre-halves and strikers playing in midfield ahead of him should be a kick up the arse.
