Matched only by his medical condition.

£20m for a 10 games a season player.

Wow.

Given that that appears his sole purpose, he'd want to an' all.

I rate him highly, but question the fact that he is supposedly back to full fitness, is only 26/27, and still can't play 2 games in a week.

At least Paul McGrath had age and alcoholism as an excuse when he was in the same boat at Villa.

this has happened to other players in the past after a broken leg, he will get there, and the fact that ingurlund aren't in the euro's this year is great for us especially re hargo - a good rest and a full pre season and we'll see the very best of him next season!!

It's not the broken leg that is the problem, it is the tendonitus in his knee.

Hasn't played 3 consecutive games since August - September.

I'm amazed he ever passed a medical. I'm guessing if he'd had to do a medical on a Saturday followed by one on the Wednesday he'd still be in Munich.

i know that, but the broken leg could have encouraged the tendinitis in his leg could it not...?
