Default Golden Boot? Is Ronaldo in the lead at the moment?

He looks to have scored more than anyone in the major leagues. Is there anyone else in the running at the moment?

Got a bit to do to catch Huntelaar. Surely the £#%&!ing Welsh league doesn't count though??

it's done on a points system though now init... so i'm not sure what the dutch league is worth, but for every goal ronny scores he gets 2 points...

Goals in the top 8 ranked leagues count double, 9-21 are times by 1.5, the rest count once.

So far it'd be -
Huntelaar 60 pts
Ronaldo 52
Fabiano 44
Torres 42
Lopez, N'Kufo 40

Looking at that link Nikos Machlas (Vitessa Arnhem) won it in 97-98 with 34 goals equating to 68 points, so it's the same as the PL 1 Goal = 2 points.

Ah right. Going by this goals in Holland are only worth 1.5 so Ronnie looks a shoe-in then

Interestingly, Fabregas has scored more than 4 times as many goals this season than Scholes, Anderson, Carrick and Hargreaves combined.

Scholes doesn't shoot anymore, Carrick and Hargo are never goalscorers, Anderson is a kid. Fabregas is meant to be a playmaker, prior to this season his lack of goals was to his discredit.

It's amazing how we are 6 points ahead of them.

But you said interestingly...

None of the rest of our midfield are goalscorers. Yet we still have the best goal difference in the league.

Impressive I reckon.

But if you put Ronaldos goals into the equation as our other scoring midfielder........

Frightening to think what it could be if we had a central midfield that produced goals too.
