didnt think of it at the time...it was already in a skip by the time i got hold of it ....heavy fire door...too heavy to tuck under my arm and chase him across the carpark

refurb at the PFA where he was working about 15 yrs ago...might still be there, dunno....and his office was being knocked out to make the room bigger...he was moved to a new office within the same building....it was the only door that was thrown out....it was in good nick tbh.

still got it...its in my mums garage....damp probably ruined it now though

I used to collect old programmes and went all over answering ads in Loot. Got a few boxes full off some school caretaker in Hyde and one box was full of Martin Buchan testimonial programmes. I gave copies to everyone at school. Still got loads of the £#%&!ers at my dads

they were touring Gemany (76/77) I think. My old man ran on the pitch at the end of the game to shake his hand (his hero) and Buchan said "£#%&! off you drunken @#%&!"

Still wells up when he speaks about it.

me too...must have been a scary sight seeing those believe family ears flapping in the wind coming towards him

Those flapping ears probably gave him flashbacks of the losing wembley final In May
