Clearly not right behind the scenes.

Sure they'll be fine against us though.
Telling you now we win there. Mou will be DESPERATE to win.

Our approach at anfield was a lot to do with a lack of necessity to win. Win at Chelsea will be massive for a host of reasons. I think we go there and win.

That penalty for city

City have been poor, gifted a goal from a pen that never was and now 3-0 up.

We had better have some of our proper players back, then.

They're going to win the league. By a mile.

Get your head around that now so you won't turn into one of the crazy deluded few on here who'll be windmilling for those who dared say it when it happens.

They’ll be close in Europe too. State of their attacking options ffs. They don’t even concede anymore either. Hello darkness indeed

They will have an at least relatively rough spell at some point. But yeah, they are miles ahead of anybody else right now

They won't.

Face it it's over. They're good and we're shit. And all it took was a billion pounds and our club going £#%&!ing mental when Freggle died. Who knew.

City have improved since last season by signing players in areas where they needed strengthening with players better than what they had no matter the cost

Crazy way to run a football club tbf.

They'll walk the league, no great shakes, no one gives a £#%&! when they win the league tbf. But the worrying thought is them and the champions league.

The worrying bit is the state of us.

The point is that, as you correctly say, we are nowhere near good enough to take advantage at present.

Well yeah, that's more depressing than worrying

Seriously though, I think we'll get it right under Mou and just hope City trip up in the meantime in Europe.

City will walk the league unfortunately

Hopefully one of the big boys dumps them out of Europe in the early knock out rounds

Looking that way. Don't like to make such judgments so early, but there's so many question marks over the rest of the sides. Still think spurs are the best side after them, but they are still yet to win any kind of game when the pressure is on.

We need four points in the next two. Anything more than seven points, even at this stage and we're done.

The wider concern is that we simply don't look like a title winning side. Too many issues.

Ivan "If we'd spent forty million on him we'd have given Huddersfield a game nqat" Perisic setting this game against Napoli on fire. Or not.

Napoli look decent but Insignia missed their best chance.
