Tactically we were all over the shop in the second leg.
I remember Mcmanaman had a decent game at Old Trafford & Coley missed an easy header in the Bernabeu but thats about it.

We absolutely froze over there in 2003. 3-0 down inside 2 minutes or whatever it was.

Big night for Carrick tomorrow. He's had a great season yet still doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves.
Would love to see him pull the strings in a game like this
I've got the full match of both legs of the 2000 tie

The first leg could have been any score it was so open however in the 2nd leg we were very unfortunate as we had about 3 times the chances Madrid had and Karanka should have been sent off and penalty given for knocking the ball over the bar when it was only 0-1

The last half hour of the 1st half of the home leg was some of the best football you will ever see from Utd but we couldn't get the ball in the back of the net. Giggs was absolutely sensational in that spell

Considering how much everyone hates United, every single bastard with any interest in football is looking forward to tomorrow more than any game their own team has played or is likely to play

Didn't Giggs get hauled down by Campo when clean through in one of the away games?
