Being third seeds will make it harder for them no doubt, but they still have a decent chance imo.

My concern would be 4-4-2 with the two central midfielders they had tonight, Huddlestone is decent enough (but not very mobile) and Palacios is a card liability IMO. Too often both were just standing outside the opposition's 18 yard box. A decent CL side should murder them on the break - not to mention pass it around those two fairly comfortably.

When they get Modric back, a three in the middle is what they should be going for, not sure Harry understands modern formations and stuff though. He's still going on about knocking us out of the cup with Bournemouth ffs

Defoe/Crouch

Relies on Crouch or Defoe doing a lot of work on their own up front. Crouch is probably better for that role and with a couple of young pacy lads either side to get on to knock downs, and Huddlestone bombing on, can see them having some success with that.
