I think he will.

Even if he is dog shit in training, it doesn't mean he will be in a game. There are plenty of players who have been awful trainers and fantastic n the pitch. So they have to give him a go at some point.

if you cant have a decent first touch in training i doubt its going to appear in a competitive game situation

It's a deliberate ploy. Seeing the papers are watching him intently hoping him to fail, we're purposefully making him look like shit in training, then when we unveil him in a competitive match situation he'll be the new Pele.

Tbh, we don't actually know it's true and anyway, it's his first week, he may not be fully fit/up to speed or he may just be nervous or settling in if it is.

I'd be bricking it personally, going from a side relegated & playing 3rd division Portuguese football to United in a few weeks would take some adjusting.
