The thread definitely did happen, might have been on Red issue. May start a new one up anyway. Shall I put you down for Gareth Bale then Ginners? Flavour of the month and all that?

They're just keeping quiet, they're afraid of acknowledging their feminine side.

What the £#%&! is going on here!? People sticking up for joey Barton

Might go and check for raining frogs, 3 horsemen just ridden past.. Where is the fourth??
im not sticking up for barton as such, for what he's pulled off in his time he shouldnt even be allowed to play sunday league, let alone premier league football.

the point is that if you remove the name 'barton' from the incident then this thread would consist of 100% of fredsters saying 'pederson is a fag'.

however, its 50/50 at the moment simply because of the level of hate that barton has rightfully earned.

It's hard to ignore his past but if you did, he's still clearly punched Pederson. It's a red card in anyone's book. He didn't even try to hide it.

Lets not let this get in the way of the fact that DC would let Pederson sneak one in.

Behave!

He punched a player on the pitch, the name doesn't matter..

Gary Neville got sent off for THE shittest ever head-butt against mcmanaman, how many non-utd fans stuck up for him

We as Utd fans chuckled and said 'I wish he'd £#%&!ing connected'

It was still a sending-off offence, much the same as punching somebody is

you're both right, by the 'rules' he shud've walked. but that's what's shit about football now, everyone is a fag and they aren't pulled up for it and told 'sort you head out son'.

if that happened on a sunday morning, the player on the floor would be getting laughed at. but it wouldn't happen. there would just be standoff and the possibility of some real punches being thrown.

Though Barton would come out of this looking bad but DC has impaled himself on it and waddled away.

Celtic and Rangers are two teams. United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are three. Three teams changes the probability dramatically. And what does the bold bit mean?

I still don't think it's right that United didn't get the three points against City. By the 'rules' we didn't score a goal, but City were shit and everyone knows it, so we should have won. That's how it would work in Sunday football.

im questioning the manliness of modern footballers. pederson provoked barton, barton pushed him in the chest. it should be a yellow, instead the rules say its a red and a 3 match ban. its bullshit. and so is your post.

I don't care what you think of modern footballers - you're trying to claim striking an opponent (it wasn't a push ffs) should be a yellow card.
