Injuries and loss of form have taken their toll on him

Tbh with the squad we have at the moment we'd be silly to let him go

He's a quality player who'll come good again

Robben's Volley?

No he wasn't, he was the only £#%&!er who tried to block it.

Loses the ball in midfield and is caught marking thin air for the corner

Harsh to blame him. They were all marking thin air at the corner.

As for losing the ball in midfield which led to the corner, again, harsh to blame the goal on that imo.

I think fergies constant rotation may be a factor as well, players need a run of games to develop form and consistency, of all the players at the club in recent years only evra, vidic and ronaldo have been immune from this and as a result have been consistently excellent for us,
Just a thought.

Probably but he wasn't on his game that night, I think that bang on the head earlier in the game must have concussed him

Didn't he start last season pretty well but then got shoved back into defence and never seemed to recover any form in midfield?

think you might be getting cause and effect a bit confused there tbh. they weren't dropped because they were consistently excellent, not the other way round.

Very. There was all kinds of fannying about in both those legs.
And if we really want to blame somebody I'd say it was whoever told them to sit back and lap up pressure after going 1-0 in the frist minutes of the tie. Bayern were rocking and we could have finished it there and then.

I'm getting a bit sick of this is scapegoating easy targets. Some of our players can do no wrong it seems.

I don't mind Carrick

Don't think as bad as some are suggesting, just isn't playing as well as he was.

Would really help if he could push on just a tiny bit

I'm the same, I'm convinced he needs a decent run of games, I'm also of the opinion that he is worth giving that run in his current form as he is extremely important to the team when on form.

A bit of an injury crisis in the middle, leaving us with just Carrick and Anderson for a month would probably push both on immensely.

always liked carrick. unfortunately his lack of confidence has clearly got the better of him, which is a real shame.

I have to say as well, that he didn't get anything like the credit he should have had for his first 3 seasons. £#%&!ing superb, made it look easy.

Yup. It was ALL him. Nothing to do with Ronaldo carrying the team for two years.

Idiot.

Key word WAS. I WAS in the RAF until I £#%&!ed up and left. Same thing. I wished he'd £#%&! up (already has) and leave.

He's been £#%&!ing horse shit for the past 18 months. I've said it, Fergie has said it (he hasn't) and everyone knows it.

Dire. Absolutely rubbish. Bring back Kleberson.

PS - you've seen your arse here in a BIG way.
