N'Zogbia, Huddlestone, Bale, Ramsey, Johnson. Plenty of young british talent has been bought and sold in the last few years for relatively little money. Our transfer policy over the past few years has been nothing short of woeful.

Agreed, good player. don't think he's typical United class but when we appear to be waiting years for our youngsters to realise their potential then it'd be nice to have young lads like N'Zogbia and Huddlestone who are actually doing the business now.

What about Thomas Gravesen?

In all seriousness, I'd take Lee Cattermole. Impressed me every time I've seen him live and I think he has more quality than many think. Him and Fletcher would be tremendous together.

Feel free to ridicule me now

But he wouldn't get in our midfield

Mesut Ozil & Sami Khedira cost Madrid less then what we paid Lazio for Veron nine £#%&!ing years ago. Then the club has the nerve to talk about 'value'. At least we have £160 million in the bank.
