Utter @#%&!.
So (allegedly) making the most of some contact is completely immoral, but kicking someone in the head when they're lying prone on the pitch is just fine?

Second yellow for the Chile player in the first half. Spain scored the goal that made it 2-0 from that move, but the ref noticed this incident off the ball.

To be fair to Clive, if these players were any good they'd already be playing in the best league in the world or at least in Spain.

Yea, apparently watching the South American qualifiers and Copa America is really difficult, what with them all being on Sky. Obviously poor old Clive can't afford a subscription on his meagre ITV wage

Is it too much to ask that football commentators/pundits are actually familiar with the subject they're discussing. In this regard, both the BBC and ITV have been a £#%&!ing joke so far.

Redknapp (Harry not Jamie, of course) is taking the banter to a new level since he's been drafted into the BBC Pundit panel.

He's on fire tonight, Corden's not fit to lace his drinks.

I love the way they assume we're all equally as ignorant as them. That they have to spoonfeed us info about football because we've all just started watching it 2 weeks ago.

Sullers won't But i would imagine most others will, and not just coz of the United connections, Spain are becoming the new Italy in a lot of peoples eyes.

Of course there's top lads like Iniesta, Xavi and half manc Pique but £#%&! me the behaviour of some of their other players was disgusting yesterday, Torres, Pique, Puyol and Ramos in particular. Never minded them but starting to dislike them as a team now.

Spot on. Raking his face with studs or shattering his kneecaps would be acceptable too.

Pique was never gonna play ahead of Rio and Vidic, only had a year left on his contract.

Not sure what Pique's got to do with Smalling, 2 years between the deals. You'd have a point if we sold Evans this summer.

We should have signed Kjaer ahead of Smalling if we're looking for the best possible long term Rio replacement. But lets hope the English boy comes good, it's not like any of us have seen him play, he must have something if United and Arsenal were fighting over him.

Pique, like Rossi, left because he wanted regular first team football.

Smalling cost more because he is English, as is usual. Hth assists
