Would look very bad for Madrid to have been rejected by Neymar, gazumped on Falcao and Cavani and then lose Ronaldo.

According to our sources, Manchester City Football Club have made strong enquires for Cristiano Ronaldo and the request was rejected at first stage by Real Madrid. We believe Manchester City bid was approved by Real Madrid but they stated the player is only waiting for one club, his former club Manchester United football club. Real Madrid have set value for Cristiano Ronaldo and at this moment they haven't met that value.

Well I'm convinced

I'm absolutely bored to tears with all this.

There's a lot more to this Ronaldo to United story than mere rumor according to John Noakes. Saying there's still a long way to go before he signs on the dotted line, but that the clubs are definitely in advanced talks.

Also mentioned on SHEP.FM that Arsenal have come back in for Rooney. United want Wilshire plus cash in exchange.
