And horribly predictable.

No reaction. None. Didn't expect one at all either.

We're now into the territory of hoping to scab a pint from a set piece rather than working our way in to the game as a good team.

Contrast with Morata. Looks classy.

I know that. Still reminds me of him. The way he runs with the ball, far better player than Lukaku technically.

Sorry, in my angst I thought you were comparing Lukaku to RVN. Morata is not a bad comparison actually.

So you think they are mobile enough to play 352?
So why is it not working?

Lukaku is happy as being a passenger.
Disagree and its not news, we knew what kind of striker we were getting when he signed and there weren't many complaints on here when was banging them in for fun at the beginning of the season and Morata hadn't got started.

As it proved with RvN you need a highly functioning, quick in the transition from attack to defence team to bring the best out of a "target man" such as Lukaku. He's never going to drop deep and offer that option, that's not his game and i dont think it should be, his strengths are mainly in and around the box, but we don't play to it because we a) probably don't have the players or b) Mourinho didn't wanna go back and forth with Madrid for Morata and knew we couldn't go into the new season with no reognised no.9 so took the punt that an extremely ambitious and hungry Lukaku could make the step.

We're shit, but i think some of the angers needs to be directed towards the right people. Blaming Lukaku for not playing like Torres is sorta like saying why doesn't Young play like David Beckham - different players.

We’re £#%&!ing rubbish against any half decent side.

Most of our players arent very good. We will continue to be rubbish for as long we rely on the likes of jones, smalling, herrara, fellaini, young, mkhitarian, valencia etc

Love it when people argue over formations.

They’re not good enough

today shows that we still need at least another 5 top class players to compete at the top level... a couple of full backs, a couple of midfielders and a winger..
