Is the other one you mention where it was flagged offside? Was it?
Sánchez was offside for the rebound.

I felt for Rashers tbh, one decent through ball all day and it was probably 2 inches too far in front of him and as a result couldn't quite get the purchase required. Summed up the day tbh. Could've played until now, still wouldn't have scored

I watched him make about half a dozen runs across the chelsea defence, not one player in our midfield had the quality to pick him out.

We get the ball pass it out wide, chelsea just dropped deeper and deeper until they had 10 men behind the ball and there was no space.
Safe passes..

The way Mourinho chucks people under the bus and drops them for making mistakes, it's hardly a surprise that they don't want to take on the riskier pass most of the time.

To be fair, I don't think Mourinho is averse to direct football. However he is chronically aware of this team's shortcomings and what happens when that back 4 gets exposed. So yeah, you're probably right, the safe pass is probably what saves us from an awful lot of "jones moments" in the season.

Young should spend time practicing with his left foot instead of hitting the deck whenever a defender has the audacity to show him on the outside.

Direct as in 60 yards to the head/chest of Fellaini/Lukaku with everyone behind the ball running on, no problem, direct when players are ahead of the ball and a bad pass can lead to the opposition breaking on them with greater numbers and players out of position? Out of the question. As a result all of our attacking is either safety first in front of the defence or attackers isolated and out numbered. No risks taken.

He's always been the same, that's why Chelsea loved a set-piece so much and he wants huge, strong battering ram centre forwards that can occupy 2-3 defenders at once or absolute Worldies like Ronaldo. Also explains why he wanted Sanchez, thinking he could pose that kind of threat.

He can do it but anyone can miss a one-off. Irritating though.
Nah, sorry mate but big game players put them away

How about Leverkusen & Dortmund?

United need players with quality, Pogba has bags of it. It would just be nice to see him in a side that doesn't necessitate this kind of scrutiny on a set piece in a final.... maybe having some actual attacking chances & inventiveness throughout the 90mins would have been nice?

If they don't follow the managers instructions they get dropped. The only ones that don't get dropped don't take risks.. Ipso facto...

Let's see what Pogba does under a proper manager. He's one of our few players capable of any real quality.

Like missing unmarked headers in the middle of the 6 yard box?

You seem to be under the impression that everything happening out on the pitch is exactly what Mourinho wants to happen. We aren’t even close to what he wants yet, we’re a work in progress still.

See my response above.
