Football Andreas Pereira

Our new midfield saviour? Always thought of him as an AMC but could be our new DM/CM for when Carrick is rested?

Impressive....most impressive

Not sure about him as a DM at this stage of his career but as a box to box option he's more than good enough
Thought we needed another midfield option on top of a DM but not anymore

Turn and pass at 2:39

Don't think you can judge anyone as a dm playing against such poor pressing

When was the last time that a promising youth team player went on long-term loans before coming back to United and securing a regular place in the first team XI? It's rarer than an accurate, left-foot Valencia cross.

Would be nice if Pereira was successful, but he also comes across as a fanny more concerned with the highlights in his hair than playing football, so not arsed either way.

Looked great last night.. hopefully that season long loan will have been the making of him.. would like to see him get a good amount of game time rhis coming season.. TFM should be sent out on a season long loan to a team that will give him constant game time..

Looks brilliant.

Can see all three of pogba, Herrera and Periera playing together with Herrera as the holding player.

Herrera is good enough to be a dm

You do realise that having highlights doesn't in any way mean he spends less time training/practicing etc?

I agree 100 percent regarding the long term loan situ... however i would have to point out that Welbeck went on loan and so did Johnny Evans and O'Shea who all performed relatively well for us over a period of time.

tbf the i think long term loans is a different monster now due to the quality/potential of players recruited (especially foreign ones). It also isn't a sign that someone has pretty much failed, as plenty of big players have done it.

Kane has a number of not so successful loans but before he burst onto the scene with Spurs

Called it a couple of months ago and was told he'd never be used as a deep lying midfielder in a Mourinho team...

First game of pre season and he plays as a deep lying midfielder

Do not invest any hope in seeing Andres Pereira playing a deep-lying playmaker role for United next season.

That's free, considered advice. I hope it finds you well.
