Wonder if woody is thinking of an exclusive deal at some point

United would blow all other clubs away untill city signed a 1 billion a game deal with a taxi firm from the middle east

Sky were caught napping with the Champions League rights and are desperate to get them back. Expect them to lower their PL offering next time around to ensure they get CL back.

The whole industry is worried about the future with live streaming rights and the likes of Amazon/Google joining the party. The PL is trying to ensure the streaming rights go with the TV broadcasting rights to maintain the value but there's only so long they're going to be able to do that for.

Either way, chairman everywhere are rubbing their hands with glee. Sky and BT probably not so much.

It only ever seems to be people on the internet who have an issue with Sky. In real life everyone has enjoyed it fantastically over the years.

Doesn't have to be as bad as it actually is (and could be)

no way they can make more money out of the current deal.. 10 million per game, no way they can increase that, but make every game available to watch live and you will blow the current deal out of the water,,

yeah i really hated just paying sky for tv football.

much better now i have to fork out extra for bt sport as well. Really great.

can't wait until more £#%&!ers come along and get their noses in the trough so we'll end up having to pay 3 or 4 subscriptions instead of one.

First point

They would more than likely do a deal for some games to be shown via BBC,ITV,sky or BT

Second point

Spot on

If we get the solo deal £#%&! everyone else, hope they all go bust. c***s should be grateful they're even in the same league as us, as they wouldn't be getting the coin they get now if it wasn't for us.

It said in the summer they could be our sleeve sponsor. Odd we have not got one yet....must be in negotiations surely.

Tinder was the other mention.

Already happened here

Optus PL
Foxtel, CL
Bein FA cup
Mutv LC

Bein and mutv bundled w/Optus premium package but Fox (Sky) an extra sub.

time we went alone and £#%&!ed the other ungrateful @#%&!s off

We're already playing silly times whilst the other Abu @#%&!s play 3 pm nearly every week

I agree United should sell the rights themselves but that then vindicates the gimps take over. All the flashmobs, sit downs, FC, meaningless

Its disgusting and only goes to prove that Woody isnt there for transfers, he's there to make pure till for the owners

Amazon is a monster - they are killing traditional retailers , re- routing consumers for everything. Welcome to the new world of big sports. TV money up , agents see that , players wages (and the agents follow) go up along with transfer fees. Was bound to happen. These broadcast rights up or sale and greed at an all time high - football finance people don't care how or where we watch.

There was a US agent that had all the really great QB's in the NFL and was making more money than anyone in the sport - 20 yrs ago. Reminds me of Mino Raiola.
