First CB to win the ballon dor since Cannavaro in 2006 who ironically is around the same height as El Carnicero aka The Butcher.

Probably as close as he'll (Souness) get to admitting he's a stupid bitter @#%&!....

"I thought he would be exposed when he arrived at United, because of his size and relative lack of pace. I have to hold my hands up, there. But he obviously has a real football brain and that 'lead from the front' mentality. You can see it in him. Everyone on the pitch, he wants to have an argument with. I love to see that".

They're nervous on the eve of the game.

Absolutely gutted. He’s our most important defender.

I think he's fractured something in his ankle/foot. 8 weeks.

Wasn't his achilles, was holding what looked like his metatarsal.

Absolutely gutted

Other than Bruno I’d have him as our most important player.

And the rest. Won’t play again until 2024 if he’s done it badly.

Some people never come back the same after it.

£#%&!.

9 at the earliest

Some players are never the same after it but that’s more players who rely on their athleticism and explosiveness

Still one of the worst injuries in sport

Absolutely gut wrenching especially as you just know if Malacia hadn’t £#%&!ed up it wouldn’t have happened as everything just went wrong from that £#%&! up on

At least he got to lift a trophy this season

Absolutely gutting. Him and Rashford with nobody within five yards of them just breaking down. Could kill our season.
