He has? Don't think so pal. He was shit first half against City, decent for 10-15 minutes then absent.

That's it.

I believe CL last 16 is business end of the season? He was £#%&!ing appalling.

Starting to come together.

Decent summer, some signings, he sparks into form next season and we're looking good.

When we signed him, people said we might have to wait until after the summer to see his best. Some have short memories tbh.

Obsessed with everybody’s age. Utter clown. When he’s 46, in the near future, he’ll think everyone who’s not 46 is clueless. Too immature to think otherwise.

Definitely signs of Sanchez hitting his stride yesterday and Pogba realising that he needs to step up too but for me Jones & Smalling deserve the most credit they completely shackled Kane.

oldest swinger in town. probably latches on to gangs of kids thinking he's still hip waving his glow sticks and telling them how it was back in the day. embarrassing at his age tbh.

Was always the one player I was concerned about when we played arsenal. Not been a straight forward transition but he’s turned up in two of our biggest matches of season having been here 4 months. We need more players who do that.

Again.

Kane is often snuffed out against us.

Jose does have a habit of killing off opposition's best players. Players the pundits love to describe as unplayable, but there's always a way to stop them. Salah, set to break goal scoring records this season, had £#%&! all against us. Kane no goal in three games. Even Eriksen was better marshalled yesterday after a good first half.

We completely shut them out that second half. Jones and Smalling were excellent.

Chris Smalling deserves a lot of credit atm. He's easily our most consistent defender. He's playing with a different partner every week and is frequently left exposed by our wandering midfielders.

And he's getting important goals.

He's a figure of much discontent on here, but I don't think there's 3 better centre backs in the league than him.

Which probably says more about the league than him.

Anyway, back on topic: easily Sanchez best game for us. And he works really really hard. Didn't realise that about him.

Yep

I’m one of his bigggest critics, but I can’t fault him for effort. Him and Jones are easily the best English defenders around at the moment and if they can both stay at this level (and stay fit) then it takes the pressure off us signing another cb in the summer and allowing us to concentrate on other positions.

Top 2nd half boss, Jose. Always has been. Rearranges the deck chairs at HT and it’s hard for the oppo coach to counter once they’re all back out on the pitch.

Cautiously opted for Smalling and Jones before ko. We all know there’s a calamity in either but you just never know.... cb position does benefit from a bit of experience and if we can rely on 20 starts from Jonesie....
