Not playing well enough to warrant a 1st team spot

Started the season poorly, hasn't found his form yet and other players have stepped up and played well. i'm sure he'll come round as the season progresses, too good a player not to but he is gonna have to wait his turn and then grab it with both hands.

I wouldnt say he is shit but he could definitely do more in terms of grabbing a game by the %@#$&!s and leading us forward

I thought there may have been something more to it like a fallout with SAF

Do you mean he's all balls. He has no balls for a mid field battle or an arse kicking contest with one legged players.

Fletcher being first choice in midfield doesn't help him either. Don't think they complement each other very well.

He's not forgotten by the way, though for some his first three seasons at the club seemingly are for some. Poor start to a season and they can't £#%&!ing wait to jump all over him.

You hate Carrick when we signed him, after winning 3 titles in 3 years, 1 CL, and another CL final, plus a Carling Cup you now start with the "I told you so" stuff. Are you being serious?

obviously not privvy to what happens behind the scenes but;

the renaisance of the prince hasn't helped him, for me he seemed in awe of him when in the past they played together, and goes into his shell.

He is a very good player - needs to to show how good he is more often. The emergence of fletch, and the form of the oldies have pushed him down the pecking order, the sign of a good player with the right mentality is how he responds.

He had a complete nightmare in Rome when Fergie put a lot of faith in him to be his main man in midfield. His bottle went and he was scared to have the ball in the first half in particular. I don't think that performance will be easily forgotten, if ever.

He was carrying an ankle injury.

£#%&!ing muppets on here tbh. Always got to be someone to slag off.

Great to Cazza back to form last night. That goal will do him the world of good.
