What part did you agree with? Surely not Carrick.

And we wasted chances again, deny that and you're deluded.

Anderson was shite.

yep. good game by anderson, he seems to understand a lot better how to pressure opponents and use his energy wisely. good passing as well.

i didn't think valencia was poor tonight. a decent performance, gave us balance, looked a threat at times. the only players who worried me were rio and vidic - very shaky, especially the latter. rio is patently not yet fit but vidic just seems quite poor. i'd be worried about playing him against torres or drogba in this form and i think we might well see evans in the team at the weekend.

good game from kuszczak, looked confident and solid.

i might have anderson as my avatar but im not a fanboy if he played shit i would agree
and im actually a big carrick fan and i usually defend him when people say he he isnt an united player etc
he was ok tonight and he scored and played better after he scored which seemed to give him more confidence, you can tell he was relieved by his celebration but before that he didnt protect the back four very well and i still think anderson was more positive going forward.
having said that carrick stretched the play well at times in the second half but he can still do better.

At times, Grafite in particular bullied the pair of them, not often you see that. I must say, I'm a bit worried about both of them. Rio appears to be slowing down a little and Vidic's concentration levels appear to be a bit off this season. Hopefully that's not related to any head-turning regarding his long-term future, which is an issue that still seems to be lingering in the background. Hopefully both will sort themselves out, but it's a concern at the moment.

Carrick was poor.

happy with the win, didnt think it was on the cards with the chances we missed.

odd one starting Owen in the first place imo. glad Berbs had a positive impact coming on from the bench.
