From what i've seen of him he looks like a striker, reminded me of Crespo. That was a while ago though, maybe they see him as more of a wide player now.

We tried to get Jovetic when he moved to Fiorentina, I'm sure we did. It may even have been before that, when he was 15/16, I think he turned us down

Think it was more to do with the lad moving at such a young age or not wanting too. Stand corrected though.

Anyway, press have reported/spotted our scouts at Fiorentina and Napoli games this season. That's not saying much but I'd be surprised if there wasn't an interest in Jovetic and Hamsik, the latter in particular.

Yeah, he turned us down because he didn't fancy moving at the time. He may have signed a contract with his club instead of us. Just remember us chasing him and him saying no.
