Seems like a very strange time for them to sell, what with Thiago having just left and Tito having to part company.

The new manager that comes in might also have Fabregas central to his plans, and l would imagine he will probably want to hang around for a bit and see if this is the case. Knowing our luck they will probably appoint Wenger

I was excited at the prospect of Thiago, Lewandowski as well. Verratti could come to OT. I would be most intrigued if we were to sign Eriksen. Would've liked us to get Jovetic if Rooney is offski. Marquinhos would've been very interesting and I was gutted when we didn't get Varane. I could go on

The point being, I prefer players who are way off their peak, have shown enough ability and desire to step up to the next level but maybe haven't yet, or haven't regularly and are chomping at the bit for the opportunity. Every now and again a player with a track record is nice and a quality addition.

I love Hernandez, wonderful bloke, top goal scorer and substitute, and he seems to have come to that conclusion himself, hence no agitating for a move for '1st team football' .
