What's happened with the Baines bid as well? Stick in a public bid (conveniently days before Moyes' first press conference) then not a peep after.

This would never have happened under Fergie and Gill. Not blaming Moyes for it at all, but there seems to be some serious incompetence amongst the pen-pushers IMO.
I think moyo wants to get in Hayley McQueen's knickers, and who can blame him.

There's no way united would make a second bid if they didn't believe it could happen IMO.

Don't like the media pal?

Look how well staying silent worked. Most we wanted never came off.

Can't hurt to switch it up, nothing to lose.

Agreed. Hope we can wrap it up by Monday. I'm very worried about Nani, though. Those add-ons may contain him in the deal. I'll be devastated if true.

Wouldn't mind getting rid of either one of Young or Valencia, tough.

If Barca accept a bid Arsenal have a buy back clause of £20m

Yes, it might be £25m, but it's irrelevant if the player doesn't want to sign for them.

If I was barca, I'd let it drag out just for the laugh and tell united on sept1st that, oh shit, forgot about you lot didn't we?

PR stunt of an offer.

Would seem odd for us to be making offers with add ons if they hadn't told us what the price is....

Definitely thing their need for a centre half is a factor here.
