Default West Ham's new ground

First game there tonight, apparently West ham refused to have it on TV because they wanted a full ground

Anyway, what the £#%&! is going on around the outside of the pitch..?

Think it's plastic based green material.

Happy to be corrected though

Still can't believe the last trip there. Absolute £#%&!ing £#%&!ers.

We can only hope Jose can surpass the wonderful standards set by Van Gaal.

The lower tiers are all temporary scaffolding jobs

Supposedly the terms of their lease mean they don't need to pay for groundskeeping, maintenance, utilities, cleaning, policing/security or corner flags but do get to keep the lion's share of gate receipts.

When they have athletics there.

They move the temporary seats that are on the running track.

It looks stupid.

On the plus side, theyre ao far away from the pitch the @#%&! in the united squad wont fold due to a "hostile atmosphere". Expect west ham away to be an easy win

Its not finished yet IIRC. The capacity for today's match was 54k but the final capacity will be 60k. Hope it burns down before they manage to finish it tbh

They're supposed to have rolling lower tiers, like the Stade de France, but for some reason they've still got to do this £#%&!y scaffolding effort. Hundreds of millions of pounds spent on it and it still looks cheap as £#%&!
