Fenerbahce's team doctor, John Kunduracioglu, has said there is nothing to worry about with the 33-year-old attacker, stating he is in good condition despite wearing an eye patch.

"Van Persie received a blow to his eye, it was torn and bleeding," told Fanatik.

"After investigating, we sent him to an ophthalmologist at the hopsital for further checks. We learned that nothing serious has happened, so the situation is good.

The former Old Trafford favourite’s face was covered in blood and he was rushed to hospital immediately, but doctors later ruled that he would be fine.
Returned to watch the rest of the game afterwards....
