Football What's the smallest United away following you've been in?

For me I reckon it's Forest away in the league in 1990, a few weeks before the cup final. Can't have been more than 400 reds there.

We got stuffed 4-0 and a group of lads behind us sang "We've got a song that'll get on your nerves" all the way through the game.

Norwich away, mid 80's I think, we lost 1-0, shit game. One of the few times we used barely 2/3's of an away end that I can remember.

About 150 up Celtic Park, a couple of coaches from OT and few car/vans, pre season testamonial thingy. Bobby Lennox and Jimmy Johnstone I think
The Polis had to surround us as we upset their lot, can't bemember why ()

mid - Late 70's

Bayern Munich pre-season tournament in 2000 to celebrate their centenary

about 40 Reds there in total including us 8

four mental days in Frankfurt and Munich one of my best ever Euro aways...bayern fans looked after us splendidly, don't think the 1,000 or so galatasaray fans were thrilled to see us mind

Counter topic but it used to a strange sight playing Wimbledon at Selhurst Park when we would have pretty much the whole of three sides of the ground and they had their "home" end What a £#%&!ing joke.

Played Flixton at Valley Road when I was about 10. Giuliano Maiorana played, about 50 reds there.

v Vics, 1989. Must've been 40-50 reds there. It was a United XI, but Viv Anderson was in it so it counts.

Villa away in 03 .
Not officially the smallest but a few hundred reds bought tickets in the villa end from ticketmaster .
I remember ruud scoring early on (disallowed for offside) and half the stand jumped up
We just stood up and sung for the rest of the game .

I remember that Link was put on RI Main and about ten minutes later, every ticket was sold. Great stuff.

The block next to the away fans at Everton went on sale a few times like that as well. We had quite a few there the day we came back from 0-2 and Chelsea drew with Bolton.
