If we really wanted a director of football, to buy well researched future stars for sensible fees, and build toward a larger picture goal, you can’t get better than Paul Mitchell. His track record is flawless and he’s an ideal fit for the role. Even with the penny pinching idiocy he’d be forced to work under.
