United football moments that made you cry?
Tears of joy or tears of despair - it doesn't matter - cough up.
Mine ... 3 of each ... Happy tears: 63 FA Cup Final. Law's opener v Leicester Eric's comeback when he did his bit on the goal stanchion The celebration after Ole's winner - B.Munich Gutted unadulterated tears: West Ham semi final FA Cup defeat at Hillsborough (circa 65) City snatching the PL title away from us with their last kick of the season. (That was truly horrific). Took me ages to get over that sickener Luke's leg break - that really upset me as it did Louis. All of the above are the ones that are planted in my mind. |

I cried with laughter when back in the 80's they used to have these weird pre-season open days at Old Trafford with things like someone parachuting into the stadium or in the one i went to, a knife juggler, who whilst juggling took his eye off the ball (so to speak) and was then stretchered out of the stadium with a knife sticking out of his shoulder.
weirdly, I seem to be the only person who remembers these things so I may have just made this whole thing up. |
