Didn't they have discussions years ago but there was the issue over the railway?

I guess its a bit easier for the United suits to brown envelope the network rail boys than get some of them lot to move.

Martin Edwards wanted a tunnel over the railway line. The intention was , over time, to purchase all the terraced housing beyond the track.

The flats next to the Stretford end bridge are council flats, so the tenants would need to be rehoused...and the council has no decent property to put them in

Might need United to buy a plot of land and build some rental property, hand it over to a housing association to manage

Woody would love that.

Sponsorship plastered all over the walls and make the rooves into giant billboards so people on planes can see them.

Revenues streams coming out of his arse.

back in the day we sorted out the landscaping for one of the civil engineers involved in drawing up a set of plans for the expansion proposal. the main stumbling block was the railway iirc, on his bit anyhoo, but most of the focus was on his raven haired, big bustered irish missus tbf - she made a mean bacon and egg sarnie with all the trim mings as well

Watched a doc about Yankee stadium when they did that. Couple of timed served New Yoikers get wound up at the new Sushi stands inside. Sold every imaginable fixture and fitting too.

I'd deffo buy W3102/3 26 120.

Loved that seat.
