You’d have to hope that with him and Donny gone and Casemiro and Erikssen hardly being in their primes, he’s got two solid replacements lined up.

Mad to think we “finally had a midfield” three or four weeks ago yet we still probably need a new one.
You have an odd affection for this lad. He's a trier, nqat, but he's a woeful footballer.

I don’t have any real affection for him I just like the type of player he is. Never shies away, constantly looks for the ball, never heard about him complaining about not starting etc etc.

Put it this way, I’d have a squad full of Fred’s over a squad full of most of our other players.

Wish him well if he leaves.

I don’t think he’s quite as bad as some say but he needs to move on.

He’s clearly not a first team regular so it seems to make sense freeing up his place and his wages…buying a better player whilst promoting a youngster to understudy.

There is a player in there somewhere so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him kick on if he moves.

oh he’s not that bad etc etc

Great, let’s keep him then at the expense of significant improvement.

If he is leaving then at least 2 need to come in. The numbers are still very light over the season, which is without even assessing the quality. Need to see how Casemiro performs post-world cup still.

Surprised the club would let him leave for free. Would think he is (relatively speaking) on a much smaller wedge than most.
