But its pretty much half of all Jews? It extends to Indian Jews, Iraqi Jews, Moroccan Jews, even Jews from Yemen. Pretty much any Jew from a place where the indigenous people don't have white skin. Mizrahi and Sephardic are the only 2 groups when you start using such broad contexts so why not just say Arab.

What’s more other than being told you are one or the other by bloodline there seem no other way of telling which one you are. I'm guessing abandoned kids are just sort branded by how "Arab" they look. This whole are of Jewish subdivision seems to me to have very little basis in actual hard fact and quite a lot of invented subdivision in order to help people find their place and create a feeling of belonging.
