Discussed Rooney's tantrum (part two), when he found out he wasn't part of Moyes plans and Ronaldo etc.

On Rooney: "What will be will be, he still is at the greatest club you can be at- why would you want to jeopardise that?"

Unable to confirm wherever he was wearing shorts unfortunately.

So, ultimately, he said nothing of any real interest what so ever.

We take the piss with the shorts and the fact he was a shit player, but does anyone actually have a problem with him? He was considered good enough by Fergie, he was part of a successful period, we don't know what he does on a day to day basis more than any other coach we've had.

He epitomised haplessness with his bald headed, shorts wearing, balloon popping antics. Plus he was a mediocre footballer.

Was a good comedic outlet on here but I can't imagine he was half the mug we made him out to be.

People need a scapegoat. In the absence of any legitimate reasons, being bald and wearing small shorts will do.
