Agreed.

Will continue to fail in Europe with the overrated and chaotic Ramos and Pepe in particular.

First thing they should do is move Ramos back to right back and get a pair of worldy defenders instead of blowing £70m on Bale when there really isn't that much wrong with their attack.

Varane will be keeping Pepe out of the Madrid side for the rest of his career. Outstanding potential, and 2nd only to Big Phil Jones in that age bracket (18-22) across Europe.

If they can sign a proper centre-back to partner Varane they will look very good. I doubt they will do it though, even if Ancelotti goes there. The board will stupidly look to get another showpiece signing to match Barca's Neymar.

Barca also in the market for a centre-back, and apparently are getting rejected in their typically unscrupulous attempts to unsettle Thiago Silva. Meanwhile Big Moyesey is walking into a squad with the world class Rio and Vidic partnership, backed up by the soon-to-be world-class Jones and excellent support in Evans and Smallingbauer. #FergieForesight

#Madrid strongly briefing all Spanish media that they've signed #Isco and while I'm sorry for raising hopes, it was in good faith.

Happy about that. Just so it ruined that song they'd already planned tbh.

How quickly have Madrid wrapped that up compared to our snail-paced dawdling with Thiago? :shakehead:

Helps when you have a Top Boy like Zidane on the case. Once City were linked with Isco, Zizou phoned the little shit up & told him to stop being a @#%&! and sign for a proper football club.

In contrast, United's new manager is on a beach somewhere, desperately trying to get a tan, while Bayern are back in training and busy chirpsing his transfer targets.

Laughable.

The fact that this is his first season at united makes it even more laughable

it's more likely that he's spoken to his targets (Bale, Ronaldo, Thiago and Strootman) who've all confirmed they are coming, so he's sitting back while the paperwork is done.
