How good is Robin van Persie?

Nah. Van Persie is the best striker in the world. He's got the goalscoring ability of Cavani/Falcao/Lewandowski and he's as good as Ibrahimovic with his link-up and hold-up play.

After Messi and Ronaldo he's the most dangerous attacking player in the world IMO, and he's doing it at a genuine giant club, unlike the other number 9s I've mentioned.

He's very good.

Ronaldo and Messi are out on their own but Iniesta is for me clearly the next best player in the world

Doesn't score enough goals to be classed as an 'attacker' IMO, which is what I believed this thread was about.

I agree though, he is in the top 3 players in the world. I think him, Ronaldo and Messi are comfortably ahead of everyone else.

How can anyone believe that Cavani is better than Van Persie?

He's a good striker but the idea he's in the top 5 in the world is mental. Suarez is twice the player Cavani is and I wouldn't have him in the top 5.
