Agreed.
Moyes won't get the funds the competing sides will get. Could easily see Moyesy
Coming out with the words "no value in the transfer window". I think cavani is better than tevez and dzeko, seems like a good replacement for either one of them.

Oh wait - 23 combined.
Not great numbers for them, but understandable with context(Mancini hating Tevez, aguero injuries etc).

If he doesn't go there he'll go to Chelsea, or PSG, or Monaco, or Anzhi. Whatever, it's pretty likely he'll play for a pastic mob next year.

The sport is just tedious in the main these days.

The sort of signing Arsenal should be making to announce their return to the trophy hunt. But £40m+, and probably £200k a week+ in wages, thats just not happening. United can't even do that, let alone Arsenal.

The plastics have killed football, FFP came way too late and seems sort of useless anyway.

Still value out there tho, absolute joke if Quintero goes to Benfica for 8m euro, then they bully us for 30m in 2 years time.

United will do well in the market this summer IMO. Fergie has left Moyes with the team of champions, and a good young squad but to stay at the top/right up there we need some investment, NQAT and Fergie and Moyes know it.

I know Throb, we are champions, brilliant, proved everything wrong, only needs a slight tweak etc..zzz

Might be best for the player. Pescara to United is such a huge step. Although Veratti probably could have made that step 12 months ago.

It'll be the summer of of the plastics, nqat.

I've got 500 on them at 3s to win the league so as long as I don't see City on top next May i'll be pretty happy either way.

Thumbs down

This will be horrific to see. He's the best number 9 in the world, ffs. Reminds me of Batigol.

A player of this ilk joining a club like City will be yet another sickening example of the slow death of football.

Don't worry pal. I'm sure Welbeck will come good any year now.

Why bring up United? We've got the best set of strikers in world football so it's not an area we need to focus on.

Plus, we've got the trump card of an unsettled Rooney, so if we choose to cash in we'll bring in Cavani, Falcao, Lewandowski or Anichebe as a replacement, improving us even more.

City and Chelsea need to sort out their strikers. We got our main man last summer. If Moyeseh is smart enough to mend the holes in our squad we'll still be the team to beat next year, regardless of what Chelsea or City do.

£#%&! Rooney off and get Edinson in. Best striker in the world, NQAT.

With him, Van Persie and Kagawa we'd have the two best strikers in the world and the best number 10 in the world.

Has that ever been seen before?
